Awind Uses 3D Scanner To Test Heat Sinks

What is a 3D scanner?
3D scanner is a scientific instrument used to detect and analyze the shape and appearance data (such as color, surface Albedo and other properties) of objects or environments in the real world. The collected data is often used for 3D reconstruction calculation, and to establish a digital model of real objects in the virtual world.

What is the function of a 3D scanner
3D scanners can be used for quality inspection of heat sinks. Use scanning equipment to scan the heat sink, compare the 3D model of the product with the design drawings, measure, compare, analyze the heat sink, and quickly determine whether the product meets the requirements.
Awind will design and produce heat sinks based on customer requirements. Some heat sinks designs are complex and require high precision. The ordinary measurement methods takes a long time and has a large cumulative deviation, making it difficult to measure some curved surfaces, occluded surfaces, and other parts.
Using 3D scanner which with 49 lasers and the highest accuracy is 0.01mm, allowing it to efficiently and accurately detect the heat sink. Provided accurate measurement data for Awind's heat sink, ensuring the accuracy of the product.
