As the overall area of the inverter decreases, the cooling aspect of the system becomes a new challenge. Awind has developed the embedded heat pipe heat sink to extract concentrated heat from device and distribute it over a larger surface area.
When the heat pipe heatsinks is running, its evaporation part absorbs the heat generated by the heat source, causing the liquid in its core to boil into steam. The heated steam moves from the evaporation section of the heat pipe heat sink radiator to the cooling section, where it condenses into a liquid. The condensed liquid returns to the evaporation section through the capillary action of the wick on the wall, thus repeating the continuous heat dissipation cycle mentioned above.
Compared to other traditional heat Sink, heat pipe heat sinks cooler have the following advantages:
1. Its thermal conductivity is almost 200 times of copper. This also makes the heatpipes heatsink cooler much smaller than other traditional heatsinks.
2. High heat dissipation efficiency, which can simplify the heat dissipation design of electronic devices, such as variable air cooling and self cooling;
