Custom Round Sunflower Aluminum Extruded Heatsink
This is a round sunflower extruded heatsink designed for high-power LED applications up to 100W. The outer diameter is 69mm, height is 60mm, and the mounting hole spacing is 28mm.
What makes this design effective is the copper core embedded in the center. Copper transfers heat faster than aluminum, so the heat from the LED chip is pulled away quickly and spread across the aluminum fins. The fins then dissipate the heat into the surrounding air.
It works well for COB LEDs, grow lights, stage lighting, and industrial fixtures where space is limited but cooling requirements are high.

Copper Core vs. Solid Aluminum
Most heatsinks are made entirely of aluminum. That works fine for many applications, but for higher wattages, aluminum alone can struggle to move heat away from the small LED chip surface fast enough.
Copper has roughly twice the thermal conductivity of aluminum. By putting a copper core directly under the LED, the heat is transferred quickly to the core and then distributed across the larger aluminum fin area. The result is better thermal performance than a solid aluminum heatsink of the same size.
If your LED runs hot or you are pushing it at full power, the copper core design can help keep junction temperatures under control.
Customization Options
The standard size we offer is 69mm diameter and 60mm height. But we understand that every project has different space constraints and thermal requirements.
